16 April 2011- Gavin Dickson appointed as Technical Director, Maritime for India offices

We are pleased to welcome Gavin Dickson as the Technical Director, Maritime at Haskoning India from April 2011.

Gavin has been with Royal Haskoning for 13 years and has a total of 18 years experience in ports and harbour civil engineering. Prior to taking up his new role in India, Gavin was the Technical Director for Royal Haskoning’s maritime advisory group office in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), a position which he held for 3 years. Prior to that Gavin was based in the UK offices of Royal Haskoning. Gavin’s career has encompassed design, contract document preparation, site supervision and independent reviewer roles.

Recent projects Gavin has been involved with include:

  • Independent review engineer for construction phase of a new container terminal in Vietnam – working for the project lenders
  • Project Manager for the feasibility, concept and basic design phases of a new oil and gas terminal in Vietnam
  • Project Manager for the detailed design of a new chemical export jetty in Thailand
  • Preparation of EPC tender documents and review of contractor submissions for a new container terminal in Vietnam

On the back of strong growth in revenue during 2011, Haskoning India is continuing to expand and diversify its technical capabilities within the Indian market. With the appointment of Gavin, we strengthen our technical presence in India and consolidate our ties with the various home offices in the UK and NL. This will directly benefit our existing and new clients.

Gavin is now based at our Noida office.
