The KALPASAR Project has four key-objectives: to provide a sustainable supply of fresh water; to irrigate the dry lands of Southern Saurashtra; to reclaim the tidal flats adjacent to the Gulf of Khambhat and to provide a sustainable source of energy.
Royal Haskoning was responsible for carrying out Pre-Feasibility Studies for Gulf of Khambhat Development and later we were also responsible for carrying out closure works to establish sustainable fresh water source and provide tidal energy for Gujarat.
