Development of a new liquid terminal at Dhamra port

Dhamra Port is located on the East Coast of India in the state of Orissa approximately 250km South West of Calcutta at the mouth of Dhamra river.
The Phase 1 development for handling bulk cargo such as coal and iron ore is currently under construction. The development comprises two berths of a total length of 700m, the facility is expected to be commissioned in May 2010.
Royal Haskoning was retained by the Dhamra Port Company Ltd. (DPCL) to undertake a technical and commercial feasibility study for the development of a new liquid terminal at Dhamra port.
