Royal Haskoning was commissioned by Mazagon Dockyard Ltd., the premier shipbuilding yard for the Indian Navy, to prepare preliminary design, detailed design and tender documents and PMC / Site supervision for their modernisation programme. This included an 8,000m² Module shop with a retractable roof, a Cradle Assembly Shop and Stores building and other Ancillary Buildings. The work also covered the design of a 25,000m² wet basins and associated dock gate. The detailed design work was undertaken by local sub-consultants to Haskoning's concept designs. Haskoning also managed the procurement of site surveys and additional geotechnical investigations and is currently supervising the construction of the whole of the works.
The consultancy services including Maintenance Workshop, Power House & Compressor House, Fire fighting, compressed air, etc and drainage and sewerage systems and roads.
